 Launched
alongside the two outfield Nike Vapor kits, this all-black outfit with
purple sleeves took its place in the run-up to Euro
		2016.
Four goalkeepers wore the kit on its first
four appearances, but it was only ever going to be Joe Hart that would
wear it for the big games, as he had been doing since 2010.
The kit seemed to have been retired following
Hart's heroics in keeping a clean sheet in Slovenia, but it re-appeared
almost twelve months later in the return fixture at Wembley, with Hart
opting for a base layer underneath that appeared to have the lower
		sleeves cut off.
The photo above of Joe Hart's shirt from the game
against Brazil appears by kind permission of the National Football Shirt
		Collection (England
Match Shirts) which is part of
the Neville Evans Collection (curator Simon Shakeshaft). |
