Saturday, 30 July 2011 - England will face Montenegro, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, and San Marino in Group H when they bid to qualify for the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil. The draw was made this afternoon in Rio. "It is not an easy draw," said Fabio Capello. "You have to be really, really focused and play every game like a final - but that will be another manager's job."

Wednesday, 23 November 2011 - England's FIFA 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures have today been finalised, following a meeting between all of the Group H member associations in Warsaw. The Three Lions will begin their campaign in Moldova in September 2012.

Tuesday, 24 September 2013 - Theo Walcott will miss England's World Cup qualifiers against Montenegro and Poland after having abdominal surgery on Wednesday. Walcott did not play in Arsenal's win against Stoke on Sunday, despite initially being named in the team.  "Theo will be out for a few weeks," said Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.

Thursday, 3 October 2013 - Roy Hodgson has named his 23-man squad. Included in the squad is Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney, who were both injured in the last squad.
