Playing Career |
Club(s) |
A
product of the renowned Crystal Palace Academy, making his first-team
debut in October 2008. He was wanted by Wolverhampton Wanderers FC in
February 2010, but Clyne turned down the offer. He broke into the Palace
first-team, then on 19 July 2012, he joined Southampton FC for an undisclosed fee.
Then, on 1 July 2015, Clyne joined Liverpool
FC for a £12½ million transfer fee, until he joined AFC
Bournemouth on loan on 4 January 2019 for the remainder of the season. He
was released from his Liverpool FC contract at the end of their
title-winning 2019-20 season, of which he played no part in. As a free
agent, Clyne was signed by Crystal Palace FC on 14 October 2020. |
