Club Career

Club(s) Began his prolific football career by scoring over 100 goals with Newbury AFC in just one season.  He signed for Swindon Town FC in 2000, before turning down Chelsea FC and signing for Southampton FC as a youth just six months later. After 21 league appearances and five goals, Walcott signed for Arsenal FC on 20 January 2006 for an initial £5m fee, risen to £9.1m. He played in 270 Premier League matches, scoring 65 times. Then, despite interest from his former club, Walcott signed for Everton FC on 17 January 2018 for a Ł20m transfer fee, making twelve Premier League appearances and scoring three goals up until the end of the season.
Club honours FA Youth Cup runners-up 2004-05; Football League Cup runners-up 2006-07, 2010-11; FA Cup winners 2013-14 (injured), 2014-15; FA Community Shield winners 2014, 2015;
Individual honours BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year finalist 2005, winner 2006;
Distinctions Youngest player to ever play for Southampton FC first team, at 16 years and 143 days.  He had already played for the reserves, aged only 15 years and 175 days.
