youth football with Manchester United FC signing a professional contract on
11 January 2011. After earning a couple of first team appearances, Keane, alongside
Jesse Lingard, were loaned to Leicester City FC on 6 November 2012
initially for three months, but Keane's loan was extended until the end of
the season. After a return to United's youth, David Moyes loaned
him out again on 28 November 2013, this time to Derby County FC,
despite attempts from Charlton Athletic FC, Middlesbrough FC and Millwall
FC. He returned to United to be loaned out again, this
time to Blackburn Rovers FC, on 7 March 2014. He returned to United again,
however, on 2 September 2014, Burnley signed Keane on loan, with
the move made permanent on 8 January 2015. He signed for Everton FC on 3 July 2017 for a potential £30 million
