England goal in front of a 55,700 crowd. A month later, the Under-16
side then beat the Spanish Under-16's on 28 April 2007 with a single
goal in front of 28,210.

Pearce's side played Portugal's Under-21 team in the UEFA Under-21
European Championship Group 3 match. A 20,000 crowd witnessed a James
Milner penalty and a Gabby Agbonlahor goal as England ran out two-nil
victors in a side that also included Joe Hart in goal, Tom Huddlestone
and Adam Johnson.
